Introduction to 3D character animation module

This is my log/blog for this module, which is also the entire written part of this module.
We have been told to come up with a new Disney character for a game. It was recommended to think of an existing Disney world (film or game) to base our character on.

Character ideas

The task: Design a Disney Character for a game!
Animate character with bones, create a short animation, with appropriate movements expressions and walk cycles.

Ideas:
  • Classic style black and white?
  • Very disney style but also original. (Difficult)
  • Rabbit, Hedgehog, Pig!, Duck, Rat, Cheetah, Crocodile, Penguin, Frog, Monkey??????
  • Ducktales character
  • Donald's opposite style character (relaxed, cool, chilled, laid back,)
  • Clothing (no bottoms traditional, shirt? hoody? sunglasses?)
  • Messy spikey hair?
  • Colour? White? Eyes blue?
  • Beak shape?
  • Size?
  • Age?
  • Style? (original, classic, princess, film, series, particular film, old, new)????
